Smart Opportunities: How smart technologies can help businesses cut emissions and energy costs
Tuesday 15th December – 1400-1500 – online
APPG members Smart Energy GB and Business Green are delighted to invite you to attend a webinar to explore how small businesses can use smart meters and other technologies to reduce their energy use, make their businesses more efficient, and reduce their environmental impact.
Smart meters are a useful tool for helping households to take control of their energy use and reduce their bills, as well as being an essential component of a smarter and more flexible grid. But they also have a vital role to play in helping businesses realise the benefits of a smarter, greener and more efficient energy system.
Through smart meters and other smart tech, small business owners can use their smart energy data to make changes to how and when they use their energy, and can consent for their energy supplier or other third-parties to use their data to provide them with new services and products to help them better understand, manage, and reduce their energy use.
The event will be chaired by James Murray, Editor-in-Chief of Business Green, and will include the following panellists:
- Robert Cheesewright, Director of Communications, Smart Energy GB
- Gemma Rippengale, ANDtr
- Rebecca Lane, Business Modelling Consultant, Energy Systems Catapult
